Job Highlights Join a creative and fast-growing architectural studio Hands-on role in accounting, payroll, tax, and HR support On-site work with opportunities to grow with the team Job Description We are a growing architectural design studio looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Officer to manage our full-cycle accounting operations. This is an on-site, full-time position best suited for someone with a strong background in accounting and tax compliance, and ideally with experience in architecture, design, or project-based industries. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Finance Record all sales and expense transactions (pre- or post-payment basis) into QuickBooks or Xero. Ensure accurate application of withholding taxes based on transaction setup. Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions regularly. Handle monthly closing activities : accruals, adjustments, non-cash entries, and advance reconciliations. Prepare monthly Profit & Loss , Balance Sheet , and Cash Flow reports. Reclassify transactions from previously closed periods if needed. Track project-level expenses and analytics for internal use. Tax Compliance (BIR) Prepare and submit all required monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (eFPS/eBIRForms). Process Annual Registration Fee (0605) . Ensure compliance with BIR tax mapping and Books of Accounts submission. Prepare and submit Loose-Leaf/Manual Books of Accounts. Payroll & HR Admin Coordinate and compute payroll using templates provided. Handle payslip distribution , 13th-month pay , and bonus calculations . Process SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG remittances and reports. Manage employee expense reports , leave tracking , and overtime logs. Onboard and offboard employees, including contract preparation . Ensure compliance with DOLE regulations . Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance , or related field. CPA licence preferred but not mandatory. At least 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience. Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and BIR compliance . Proficient in QuickBooks, Xero , or similar accounting software. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace . Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management. Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines. Must possess a valid work authorisation to work in the Philippines. Preferred Qualifications Background in architecture , design , or construction-related firms .
