Job Description

We are seeking a motivated AI Engineer to join our newly formed AI Center of Excellence. This role is pivotal in driving the adoption and implementation of artificial intelligence across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate requirements into technical specifications for AI-driven solutions.
  • Build and test prototypes rapidly to validate new ideas and demonstrate feasibility to stakeholders.
  • Deliver scalable, secure, and production-grade AI applications on cloud platforms.
  • Writing clean, scalable, and documented code.
  • Work independently to manage projects from initial review to final delivery, ensuring alignment with CoE standards.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in AI/ML and advocate for the adoption of new technologies and techniques.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering with strong proficiency in languages like Python.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and system integration patterns.
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JWTs
  • Familiarity with git or Azure DevOps for version control
  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI applications.
  • The ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the financial services or banking industry.
  • Experience with cloud-native AI services (e.g., Azure AI Foundry or Google Vertex AI)
  • Experience with AI/LLM-powered applications, developer tools, or observability platforms (e.g. Langchain framework)
  • A "get stuff done" attitude—comfortable shipping fast and iterating based on user feedback
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
