Gallery Assistant

Overview

We are seeking for an Interim Gallery Assistant to temporarily manage exhibitions and the collection of Galleria Duemila alongside the Art Director for a period of 3 months.

• Drive sales while overseeing gallery operations, exhibitions, and marketing.
• Identify, engage, and convert potential collectors, architects, and interior designers.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through follow-ups.
• Curate and recommend artworks tailored to client preferences and spatial requirements.
• Conduct on-site visits and provide expert guidance on artwork selection.
• Manage client inquiries and oversee the end-to-end sales process.
• Plan and coordinate exhibitions and art fair presentations.
• Manage exhibition agreements, timelines, budgets, and logistics.
• Oversee the production of exhibition brochures in coordination with artists.
• Update and maintain records of represented artists.
• Supervise the installation and deinstallation of artworks.
• Lead marketing campaigns to promote exhibitions and drive sales.
• Oversee digital presence, including social media, email outreach, and content creation.
• Develop exhibition press kits and secure media coverage.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets.
• Represent the gallery at industry events and networking functions.
• Oversee daily gallery operations and manage staff tasks.
• Manage partnerships, sponsorships, and artwork loans.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and track artwork availability.
• Supervise the authentication and issuance of Certificates of Authenticity.
• Prepare and file monthly stock reports.

• Proven track record in art sales and high-end client relationship management.
• Existing network of industry contacts with potential to generate sales.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask.
