About this role: We are seeking an experienced and talented Project Designer to join our dynamic team in Manila. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage projects effectively within the hospitality sector. This role involves developing design solutions, preparing detailed construction documents, and ensuring that all aspects of the project align with client expectations and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop schematic design solutions aligned with project criteria, program requirements, and budget constraints. Assist in preparing and delivering design presentations, ensuring they meet office and client standards and effectively communicate design intent. Collaborate in shaping the overall design direction of the project and communicate this vision to the project team. Provide regular project status updates to the Senior Project Designer and/or Project Director and maintain proactive communication with all project team members. Attend site meetings, supporting the project manager in reviewing and assessing project progress. Ensure efficient service delivery by tracking assigned tasks against the project schedule and actively engaging in quality assurance and project review processes. Prepare and review detailed construction documents (including floor plans, elevations, sections, electrical details, schedules for finishes, plumbing, doors, fixtures, and furniture) to ensure compliance with quality standards, code requirements, and design specifications. Contribute to the development and ongoing refinement of design standards for the firm. Stay informed about emerging trends in the hospitality industry that could impact design strategies. That is why we are also looking to recruit the most talented in the industry to join us Below are the minimum qualifications that we expect from you: Preferred: 5-8 years of experience in hospitality design from a reputable architecture or interior design institution. Strong design aptitude with a creative and innovative approach. Intermediate technical proficiency in formulating design parameters and executing design work. Capable of developing clear action plans to deliver technically sound solutions within project deadlines and budget constraints. In-depth understanding of hospitality design and related products. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), AutoCAD, Revit, Design Manager, Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, and similar design software. Excellent presentation and communication skills is a must.
