Responsibilities Develop the game server‑side application logic. Evolve the business’s software applications using the latest development tools and methods (Ruby 3). Design and maintain analytics solutions and observability, and persist automated tests. Conduct unit tests, code reviews, refactor source code, and assess and improve software performance. Write and document code that meets project standards to deliver the desired functionality aligned with overall guidelines. Introduce new technologies and practices to improve documentation, scalability, testing techniques, and refactoring. Requirements Seasoned in software development. Strong working experience with Ruby. Familiarity with C/C++, Rust or Go is a plus. Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems. Basic knowledge of the command line and Git version control. Basic knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes. Willingness to learn and work with new technologies (e.g., gRPC, GraphQL, Go). Excellent written communication and documentation skills in English. Open and persuasive communication style; able to illustrate difficult issues and complex relationships. Must be located in a European time zone (+/- 2 hours).
