Overview Responsible for managing the financial and accounting operations, activities and services of the Foundation and its members, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis, in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and organizational procedures. Duties and Responsibilities Accounting and Bookkeeping Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions Process payables: timely & accurate payments, monitor balances, respond to vendor inquiries Process receivables: timely & accurate recording of revenue, invoicing, tracking payments, resolving discrepancies Assist in the preparation of budget and expense reports Coordinate tracking/monitoring of financial instruments (bank accounts, loans, investments, etc.) Assist in reconciliation of records Coordinate with Comptroller, accounting/payroll providers, banks to update records, process payments, generate reports, cash management Coordinate and assist personnel‑related matters: develop pay structure and benefits, ensure payroll compliance, etc. Maintain, manage and coordinate necessary databases, inventories Implement & maintain auditable finance model/infrastructure for Foundation & members Assist in budget forecasting, preparation, consolidation & structuring Assist in monitoring & analyzing budget utilization: cash flow, projections Assist in managing & monitoring funds and grants, including financial reports for grant compliance Compliance and Audit Assist in filing, processing & recording taxes & other regulatory requirements Assist in coordinating internal & external audits, preparing financial statements Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, tax laws, etc. Develop tracking tools to monitor performance of operations Administrative Provide administrative & operational support to day‑to‑day Foundation operations Support strategic planning: alignment of functional goals & responsibilities Assist in development & continuous improvement of systems, policies, procedures Assist in developing, managing, maintaining & updating files, databases & info management systems, coordinating institutional documents Support board relations: prepare reports/documents & coordinate schedules & requirements Organization Immediate Superior: Operations Head Peers (reporting to the same superior): Programs Head, HR and Admin Officer Job Specifications 1. Education and Professional Requirements Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, CMA 2. Experience Minimum 5 years of finance & accounting experience in non‑profits At least 3 years in a relevant supervisory role Technical Skills Extensive knowledge in non‑profit accounting In‑depth knowledge of regulatory issues, accounting and taxes Experience with accounting software and systems Professional Skills Analytical, problem‑solving, presentation & leadership skills Good verbal & written communication skills Time & task management skills High level of attention to detail on financial data Service‑orientedness and commitment to high‑quality service Ability to work collaboratively and motivate others Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full‑time Job function Finance and Sales Industries: Non‑profit Organizations Location: Pasig, National Capital Region, Philippines #J-18808-Ljbffr
