Golden Acres Food Service Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Operations Manager with a specialized focus on meat products. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail meat stores, ensuring smooth operations, maintaining product quality, managing staff, and achieving sales targets. Additionally, the role will involve scouting potential locations for new stores, analyzing market trends, and providing strategic direction to grow our retail business.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all daily operations of the meat retail stores, ensuring efficiency, high standards of product quality, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Supervise and train store staff, ensuring they meet performance standards, maintain a high level of customer service, and follow operational procedures.
- Identify potential locations for new store openings, analyze market trends, and assess the feasibility of expanding the brand.
- Monitor sales performance, create forecasts, and manage budgets to meet targets while ensuring optimal product availability and pricing strategies.
- Oversee inventory control, manage stock levels, reduce waste, and ensure the availability of fresh meat products.
- Enhance the customer shopping experience by ensuring high standards of store presentation, product quality, and service.
- Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and procurement departments to ensure alignment and efficient operations.
- Track key performance metrics, prepare reports on store performance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and health regulations, including maintaining necessary certifications and inspections.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail operations management, with at least 3 years focusing on the meat industry.
- Strong understanding of meat products, quality control, and safety standards.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience in budgeting, sales forecasting, and inventory management.
- Ability to identify new market opportunities and manage retail expansion.
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and industry-specific technologies.
- Previous experience managing multiple retail locations.
- Strong network and relationships in the meat supply chain and retail industry.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance.
