With this role, were seeking to ensure efficient, secure, and reliable operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure by managing network systems, hardware and software resources, user accounts, and vendor coordination, supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term IT initiatives..

What youll do

This is a multifaceted role responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, which includes network connectivity, hardware and software asset management, license and account administration, and general IT operations.

  • Provide network support to ensure stable and secure connectivity across the office
  • Manage hardware and software inventory, including tracking, allocation, and lifecycle management
  • Administer software licenses and user accounts to ensure proper access and compliance
  • Coordinate with telecommunications providers and IT vendors for services and equipment
  • Work closely with Human Resources (HR) to prepare IT equipment for new hires
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Unit to provision necessary tools and software access
  • Liaise with Japan-based counterparts to ensure alignment and coordination on IT-related matters
Educational Background & Experience
  • At least a bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, or a related technical field from a recognized institution OR at least 2–3 years of relevant experience in IT support, infrastructure, or helpdesk operations.
  • Open to candidates from non-traditional educational paths but with proven technical experience and/or certifications.
Technical Competencies
  • Solid foundation in network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and basic network maintenance
  • Experience with hardware and software asset management, including inventory tracking and lifecycle documentation
  • Familiarity with account and license administration using tools such as Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Google Admin Console, or similar
  • Strong documentation skills; experience in drafting IT policies and procedures is an advantage
  • Basic scripting experience (e.g., Google Apps Script) is an advantage
  • Familiarity with basic IT security practices and tools; able to promote and implement security awareness measures
  • Proficiency in Windows and macOS environments; basic Linux knowledge is an advantage
  • Exposure to collaboration tools commonly used in hybrid workplaces (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Google)
Workplace & Communication Skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English; can support local staff and collaborate with international teams (e.g., Japan head office)
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple requests and resolve issues independently or in coordination with technical teams
  • Customer-focused approach with a service-oriented mindset
Preferred Skills (but not required)
  • Experience working with multinational teams or offshore counterparts.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices or certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation).
  • Experience coordinating with local telecom providers (PLDT, Globe, Converge) and hardware vendors.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and tools for endpoint management.

Job Description

Working hours

  • Standard: 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Early start option: From 6:00 a.m.
  • Latest possible start: 10:00 a.m.
  • Must work 8 hours/day
  • 1-hour lunch break
