JOB DESCRIPTION The CAD Operator will be responsible for producing, revising, and managing detailed computer-aided design (CAD) drawings for Company's projects. This position focuses on the technical drafting support required for design development, construction documentation, and site coordination, working closely with the Site Architect and project team. Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities Create and modify detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and specific architectural details (especially for fit-outs) using CAD software. Ensure all drawings adhere to company standards, layering protocols, and graphic conventions. Convert design sketches or red‑lined markups from the Site Architect or Project Manager or Site Engineer into accurate and complete working drawings. Manage and organize the project drawing files and ensure that the latest revisions are distributed to the site and relevant team members. Perform plotting and printing of drawing sets for submittal and site use. Assist in quantifying materials based on drawing details when required. Integrate and coordinate architectural drawings with those from structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing disciplines to identify and resolve potential clashes. Prepare ‘As‑Built’ drawings following the completion of a project, documenting all final conditions and modifications made on site. Assist in preparing presentation drawings or visual aids when necessary. Stay updated with the latest versions and features of primary drafting software. Skills and Qualifications A degree or certificate in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, Civil Engineering, or any related technical field is preferred. (PRC license is not required). Previous experience as a CAD Operator, Drafter, or similar role in a construction or architectural firm. Expert proficiency in AutoCAD is a must. Familiarity with other related software (e.g., SketchUp, Revit, or basic rendering software) is a plus. Strong understanding of architectural conventions, drawing scales, and construction terminology. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work methodically, follow instructions, and meet tight deadlines. Strong organizational skills for file and drawing management. WHY JOIN US?
