Assistant Finance Manager

• Review and manage the day-to-day operations of the overall accounting function which includes but not limited to month-end closing, journal entries and reconciliation, fixed assets register, account receivable, account payable, billing.
• Supervise and ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly and yearly financial reports.
• Ensure entity’s financial statements are in accordance with corporate financial reporting policies and standards; and are compliant to local regulatory requirements.
• Manage weekly cash flow and monthly fund forecasting.
• Look into strengthening current internal control and process improvements.
• Provide business partnering with non-finance stakeholders for financial and operational issues, including insights on the company performance.
• Manage the annual budget planning process and prepare the budget for submission.
• Liaise with the external auditors and tax agents and drive corporate accounting and tax compliance to the regulations.
• Handle yearly statutory audit, yearly account filing, and review/submit for corporate tax filing.
• Liaise with the banker to resolve any bank issue.
• Handle ad hoc assignments / tasks allocated by the Regional Finance. Any other responsibilities assigned by Superior & Management.
• Review and submit VAT return on monthly basis for the company.
• Manage / review on withholding tax for claim / payment to the tax authorities.
• Handle administrative matters relating to the accounting department.
