The Research and Development (R&D) Specialist will be responsible for conducting innovative research, developing new products, improving existing processes, and ensuring that projects align with the companys strategic goals. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing data, and applying scientific and technical expertise to drive product and process improvements. Key Responsibilities Conduct research, experiments, and feasibility studies to support product and process development. Develop prototypes, test formulations, and validate results in accordance with company standards. Monitor industry trends, technologies, and competitor products to identify opportunities for innovation. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and marketing teams to ensure successful product launch and implementation. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Continuously evaluate and improve methodologies, procedures, and product designs. Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Science, Engineering, Food Technology, Agriculture, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field (Masters or PhD is an advantage depending on specialization). Proven experience in research, product development, or laboratory work (fresh graduates with strong academic/research background may also be considered for entry-level). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in using laboratory equipment, data analysis tools, and relevant software. Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
