  • Oversees overall employee health and safety status .
  • Assesses and determines the health status of all employees.
  • Provide general assistance and support to all medical related concerns of team members, contractors, and customers.
  • Identify workplace health hazards and recommend effective solutions.
  • Document actively all employee injuries and illnesses and coordinate recommended action to the supervisors.
  • Verify submitted medical and fit-to-work certificates of team members.
  • Assist in scheduling and implementation of annual physical exams for all employees.
  • Document summary of APE results and create workplace plans and programs based on APE results.
  • Research latest health protocols and disseminate them to all team members.
  • Arrange and conduct safety and health activities/programs/health related information campaign in the workplace.
  • Assist government agencies in the conduct of safety and health inspections, accident investigation.
  • Prepare mandated reports to the Dept. of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
  • Administer over-the-counter medication to employees.
  • Monitor weekly the usage of medicines and conducts inventory of current medical supplies. Recommend new medicines/supplies if necessary.
  • Make purchase orders for replenishment of medicines.
  • Maintenance and upkeep of clinic and lactation room.
  • Coordinate and tie-up with hospitals to secure MOA for emergency cases.
  • Graduate of any 4-year course preferably Nursing
  • With at least 1 year related work experience.
  • With background on safety procedures.
  • License/Certificate:Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training (40 hrs),Loss Control Management Training (40 hrs),Certification as Accredited Safety Practitioner (Mandatory if SO has more than 3 years of experience.
  • Registered Nurse.
  • Can work ASAP.
