Responsibilities
  • Gain understanding of project goals and establish a project plan including estimation, scheduling, and project management guidelines.
  • Manage a project based on the project plan and be responsible for quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Conduct Furikaeri during the closing phase for team improvement and provide feedback for the organization.
  • Lead delivery of work packages or project stages in partnership with the customer and business unit to ensure acceptance, closeout, and handover to service.
  • Define work package or project stage requirements and manage the agreement process of requirements and objectives.
  • Operate in accordance with Fujitsu working practices and local policies.
  • Report to the Project or Program Manager through Highlight Reports and stage assessments; ensure formal reviews are used.
  • Manage risks associated with deliverables and monitor the business unit’s profit & loss visibility; obtain contingency sign-off from governance.
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders (customer, subcontractors, and Fujitsu) typically at project level.
  • Align own objectives with project or program objectives and support policies compliance.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of experience or as required by client.
  • Preferably experience with Japanese clients.
  • Technical background (e.g., Java, Python, COBOL, Spring, C#, .NET, iOS, Android, etc.) desired.
  • Knowledge of Agile (optional).
  • Nihongo skills (optional).

  • Assignment feedback scores
  • Project status in program/project management reporting tool
  • Work packages delivered on time, within budget, and with appropriate quality
  • Formal reviews conducted and documented
  • Efficient and timely asset availability during all stages
