Plan and conduct geodetic and topographic surveys using GPS, total stations, and aerial mapping tools. Collect, process, and interpret spatial data for infrastructure and land development projects. Establish geodetic control networks for mapping, construction, or boundary demarcation. Create and update maps, charts, and survey reports using CAD and GIS software. Perform coordinate system transformations and ensure geospatial accuracy. Use remote sensing data and photogrammetry techniques for land analysis. Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, and project managers to integrate geodetic data into project designs. Ensure compliance with national and international surveying standards and legal boundaries. Supervise and train field survey teams and manage survey instruments and data collection procedures. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of geodetic findings and measurements. Education Bachelors Degree in Geodetic Engineering, Geomatic Engineering, Surveying, or a related field. Licensure or certification from a professional body (e.g., Registered/Licensed Geodetic Engineer, depending on country). Technical Skills Proficient in using surveying instruments (e.g., total station, theodolite level). Skilled in CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D). Experience with geodetic computation, data adjustment, and transformation. Knowledge of remote sensing, photogrammetry, and drone surveying.
