  • Troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs programmable logic controllers (PLC), milling proprietary software, human machine interface (HMI), variable frequency drives, soft starters, interlocking devices and other related process instruments.
  • Perform program migration (downloading/uploading) of computer-based control of process equipment.
  • Perform online troubleshooting of milling proprietary software in coordination with Mill manufacturer.
  • Perform in-house calibration of process instruments and other related automation devices.
  • Plan-out and implement annual preventive maintenance of plant automation system.
  • Monitors and ensure availability of critical spareparts (hardware) and updated software of plant automation system in coordination with maintenance service provider and Original Equipment Manufacturer.
  • Prepares and maintain updated masterlist of process automation devices, controllers and instruments.
  • Recommends and/or implement cost reduction or process improvement projects related to plant automation system.
