The Quality Assurance Officer will ensure that all products meet the company's quality standards and comply with food safety regulations. This role involves monitoring production processes, implementing quality control measures, and conducting inspections to maintain high standards of seafood quality and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures and standards in line with company policies and government regulations.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards, including HACCP, GMP, and other relevant guidelines.
  • Conduct routine inspections and audits of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Identify and address quality issues, including investigating non-conformities and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to quality assurance activities, including inspection reports and audit findings.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards and food safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials meets company specifications.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, regulatory changes, and best practices in food safety and quality assurance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in quality assurance or quality control in the food industry is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and other food safety standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
