Principal Info Security Engr

Optum Quezon City, National Capital Region, Philippines

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, remediate, and approve firewall rules/policies in accordance with enterprise established standards and compliance requirements.
  • Make critical decisions on enterprise security policies.
  • Utilize security monitoring tools to support audits (e.g., AlgoSec).
  • Report and review the compliance status and take remediation actions.
  • Determine the severity and complexity of security-related issues to ensure protection of systems data and accountability of proprietary, personal, or privileged electronic data, autonomously or as part of a team.
  • Collaborate with director, managers, and other technical personnel to mitigate security risks to the company.
  • Define, implement, audit, and maintain firewall security policies.
  • Promote development of innovative approaches and solutions to complex problems and issues.

Requirements:

  • 7 yrs - Palo Alto Firewall experience
  • 5 yrs - Cloud Security experience
  • 5 yrs - Security Architect experience
  • 5 yrs - Firewall rule/policy compliance and governance experience
  • 5 yrs - Firewall rule analysis and remediation experience
  • Communication skills for team and customer engagement

  • Needs to work 40+ hours per week
  • Required shift will be 8-5 CST
  • Needs to meet RTO requirements
