Overview Finance Services Team Leader role at QBE Insurance. Time Type: Full time. Shift: 3PM - 12 AM. Location: Quezon City / Pasay / Taguig / Manila / Mandaluyong / Makati, Philippines (regional postings vary). Primary Details Role provides leadership and coordination of operational activities within the General Accounting team, ensuring accuracy and integrity of Financial Accounts, supporting divisional and group finance teams, and driving a modernized accounting way of work. May lead projects and be consulted on global finance initiatives. Responsibilities Process and Service Management: Manage day-to-day delivery of the team\'s services to meet divisional and group needs; monitor and report SLA/KPI performance; resolve issues and drive required actions. People Management: Lead, mentor and develop the team; hire for open positions; manage capacity and build succession plans; maintain a high-performance, accountable culture. Process Improvement: Lead or support business improvement plans; drive process optimization and efficiency targets; implement process changes. Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders; provide timely updates on deliverables and issues. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain process documentation; ensure compliance with QBE policies, procedures and applicable laws. Business Continuity: Contribute to the creation, update and execution of the Business Continuity Plan. Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent experience. Required Experience: 6 years of relevant experience. Required Licenses/Certifications: CPA or CMA or MBA or similar. Preferred Competencies/Skills: High proficiency in MS tools; strong spreadsheets, data analysis and reconciliation skills; strong people management and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving capability; initiative and results orientation; Agile mindset and change management. Preferred Education: Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent. Preferred Experience: At least 6 years in general ledger accounting in corporate accounting or shared services; insurance accounting background; experience in BPO/shared services; familiarity with Intercompany, Fixed Assets, Accruals, FX revaluations, Cash management, Expenses; GL accounting and balance sheet reconciliations; lead roles on special projects; Oracle, Blackline and HFM experience are plus; knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to QBE jurisdictions.
