Overview Structural Steel Drafter role at Canam. Location: Mandaluyong, National Capital Region, Philippines. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Team Leader to capture and detail structural members using SDS/2 and TEKLA software, adhering to plans, specifications, and technical directives. Detect and report anomalies in plans and specifications to the project Team Leader. Prepare work for other detailers and provide technical assistance within the scope of competence. Ensure all framing and details are prepared according to drafting standards and procedures. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including identifying causes of non-compliance and implementing corrective actions. Contribute to the development of ongoing tools and work methods improvement plans. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, or Civil Engineering 1-2 years of Structural Steel Detailing experience preferred Proficiency in SDS/2, TEKLA, and AutoCAD software Knowledge of steel frame drafting codes for Canada and USA Strong technical skills in steel frame design and detailing Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Company Description Canam Group specializes in designing and fabricating metal components for the North American construction industry.
