Job Description: Hub Manager The Hub Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a logistics hub, ensuring efficient handling of inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining service quality, and driving operational excellence. This role demands strong leadership, process discipline, and cross-functional coordination to meet service level agreements (SLAs), cost targets, and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Operational Oversight Manage all hub activities including receiving, sorting, dispatching, and inventory control. Ensure timely and accurate movement of goods across the network. Team Leadership Supervise hub staff including supervisors, handlers, and drivers. Conduct training, performance reviews, and enforce discipline. Process Compliance Implement and monitor SOPs for handling, safety, and documentation. Ensure adherence to regulatory and company compliance standards. Performance Monitoring Track KPIs such as TAT, load factor, damage rate, and delivery accuracy. Generate daily/weekly reports for management review. Vendor & Fleet Coordination Liaise with transporters, third-party vendors, and fleet operators. Ensure vehicle availability, route planning, and cost optimization. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Resolve service issues, delays, and escalations. Coordinate with customer service and sales teams for smooth operations. Technology & MIS Use TMS/WMS systems for tracking, reporting, and exception handling. Maintain dashboard-ready data for CXO-level visibility.
