Treasury Specialist

Work Setup: Hybrid (Sometimes needs to travel to Hideout at The Hideout in Clark, Pampanga/Sanctum at The Sactum in Quezon City 2-3 times/month)

The Treasury Specialist is responsible for maintaining a company's financial stability by managing cash flow, processing transactions, and ensuring accurate financial records. Key duties involve supporting treasury functions, documenting financial transactions, preparing reports, and assisting with treasury payments and collections. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in accounting software, and analytical skills to support the treasury department's goals. Will be responsible for overseeing and leading treasury functions while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

What does a day in the life of a Treasury Specialist look like?

• Ensure all payments for vendors and employees are processed timely and accurately
• Monitor and manage banking relationships by handling all applications or requirements needed and ensuring cash handling process
• Conducts reconciliation daily of all accounts to ensure accuracy
• Review and align purchase orders with invoices
• Monitor and maintain an organized aging of payables
• Monitor and maintain an orderly voucher filing system
• Maintain and manage all financial documents are stored properly within compliance standards
• Maintain and follow disbursement policies set by the organization
• Adheres to company policies and procedures
• Meets or exceeds performance targets for related KPI’s
• Continuously improves knowledge of products, services, and processes by participating in training programs and continuous learning modules
• Collaborates with other departments as needed
• Maintains a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues at all times
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Required to report on-site for urgent matters that needed physical appearance.

What are the required qualifications of a Treasury Specialist?

• Must have a degree in Accounting, Business Administration - Finance Management or any other related fields
• 1-2 years of experience in a finance, treasury, or equivalent role
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Solid understanding of treasury and accounting payable principles
• Excellent Business Acumen and Ethical Practice
• Advanced in using Microsoft and Google Sheets (Strong excel using background - should know excel functions like Vlookup, Sumif(s), pivot tables etc.)
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Exceeding ability to focus and be accurate & detail-oriented; High level in Analytical and Numerical Skills.
• Has strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and under pressure
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
• Proficient in using computers and various software applications
