With Metrobank, a meaningful life is within your reach Position Title Policy Specialist Job Summary Facilitate development, amendment and revocation of branch Policies and Procedures (P&P) ensuring that these P&Ps are compliant with regulations and internal control standards, relevant, operable, clear and consistent with related P&Ps. Specific Duties & Responsibilities Facilitate collaboration with BBS-BOSG-BOSD and other stakeholders relative to the documentation, amendment and revocation of branch P&P. Ensure that the P&P proposal is consistent with related policies and procedures, identifying and addressing any discrepancies to maintain uniformity and coherence in policy handling and implementation. Prepare drafts of the P&P proposal and coordinate the review process with all stakeholders and control units to ensure complete feedback and sign-off. Prepare and compile responses to comments/issues raised by stakeholders and control units and secure responses from the BU-proponent. Mediate between business units with competing policy requirements, works to achieve resolution, and where necessary, discuss/escalate the issue to the Department Head. Ensure that final approval for P&Ps is secured from the relevant approving authority before dissemination to the branches and other impacted business units. Update the branch P&Ps impacted by the recent BSD circulars, announcements released. Prepare and maintain a comprehensive archive of all P&P-related documents, including drafts, approvals, and comments ensuring traceability and for ease of retrieval. Maintain and regularly update the Project Monitoring Tool (PMT) to track the progress, status, and timelines of all P&P projects and initiatives. Gain understanding of the features and functionalities of the bank’s system/applications, as well as its products and services, to ensure the P&P documentation aligns with system capabilities, product offerings, and operational constraints. Monitor and report project status and periodic updating progress regularly to Department Head, team members and client-counterparts. Perform other tasks and projects as directed by management.
