Your role in a nutshell

No two days for a Check Point Security Engineer (Presales) are the same. You’ll work hands-on with advanced technologies, understand customers’ security challenges, and play a crucial role in designing solutions.

Major Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Sales Team to recommend Check Point solutions that meet customers’ cyber security needs.
  • Provide insights and advice based on Check Point best practices to drive optimal outcomes.
  • Lead technical engagements, address questions, provide consultative advice, and manage tasks such as Proof-of-Value and Cyber Workshops.
  • Demonstrate the full portfolio of solutions to protect organizations from threats and safeguard operations and information.
  • Drive meetings with customers to identify problems and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Support responses to RFIs and RFPs with relevant bid teams.
  • Engage and enable partners and customers on the latest Cyber Security technologies.
  • Participate in cyber security events and provide timely activity reports and updates to the SE manager.
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant engineering and pre-sales experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of typical customer architectures and cyber needs.
  • Exposure to network, cloud, and endpoint security is advantageous.
  • Customer-first mindset with experience in engaging large to medium enterprise organizations.
  • Ability to create end-to-end security solutions for a customer’s environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; strong teamwork in a distributed group.
  • Relevant certifications highly preferred (e.g., CCNP, CISSP, CCSA, CCSE).
