Job Description

Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, implement, and manage security platforms that safeguard cloud-based banking infrastructure and applications.

  • Develop security automation tools and frameworks to improve security operations and incident response.

  • Lead the implementation and optimization of SIEM solutions, ensuring effective log collection, correlation, and threat detection.

  • Work closely with DevOps and engineering teams to embed security best practices into CI/CD pipelines.

  • Manage and enhance identity and access management (IAM) controls, ensuring compliance with security policies.

  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts generated by SIEM and other security tools, minimizing false positives and ensuring rapid incident resolution.

  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability management, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.

  • Collaborate with compliance and risk teams to ensure adherence to industry regulations such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and local banking standards.

  • Continuously research and implement emerging security technologies and best practices.

The Successful Applicant


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or security engineering roles.

  • Extensive experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, ELK, QRadar, etc.) and threat intelligence solutions.

  • Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and best practices (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Hands-on experience with security automation, scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)

  • Experience with SOAR, EDR, IDS/IPS, and other security monitoring tools.

  • Familiarity with container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and API security.

  • Knowledge of networking, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions.

  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, AWS Security Specialty, or GIAC are a plus.
