Overview

Position: Cold Caller & Marketing Assistant

Location: Remote

Job Type: Part-Time, 25 hours per week, Independent Contractor

Work Schedule: Flexible hours aligned with EST; occasional weekend availability may be required.

Job Purpose and Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Cold Caller & Marketing Assistant to work across both our legal practice and media platform, providing diverse experience in client relations, business development, marketing, and administrative support. The position is designed to start part-time to allow for proper training and relationship building, with strong potential for growth into a full-time role.

Responsibilities
  • Client Development & Relations
  • Conduct follow-up calls to potential clients from email inquiries to qualify and assess onboarding suitability
  • Assist with client prospecting and lead generation activities
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendar coordination
  • Support client communication and relationship management
  • Marketing & Business Development
  • Assist with video marketing projects and content creation
  • Support website updates and maintenance
  • Help develop and implement marketing strategies for both the law practice and media platform
  • Create and manage social media content as needed
  • Administrative Support
  • Provide general administrative assistance as needed (note: document management and case filing will be handled by our existing legal assistant)
  • Support project management across various initiatives
  • Assist with research tasks related to legal, business, or media projects
  • Handle miscellaneous tasks as business needs arise
Qualifications
  • Excellent English Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including superior proofreading and listening skills
  • Comfort with Phone Communication: Ability to make professional follow-up calls and engage with potential clients confidently
  • Fast-Paced Work Environment: Thrives in a dynamic, quick-moving work environment with changing priorities
  • Learning Agility: Commitment to understanding legal terminology and concepts as they arise in daily work
  • Flexibility: Willingness to take on diverse tasks across legal and media projects
  • Reliable Internet & Technology: Access to stable internet connection and necessary technology for remote work
  • Professional Work Ethics: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in administrative support roles in a legal and/or business environment
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and concepts
  • Experience with digital marketing, social media, or content creation
  • Background in customer service or client relations
  • Technical skills including proficiency with common business software and learning new platforms quickly
