Lead Software Engineer at GoTeam

Location: Cebu City | Hybrid | Dayshift (7:00 AM–4:00 PM PH Time)

Overview

This role is central to shaping our software solutions and driving technical innovation, with emphasis on AI-enabled development and global impact.

Responsibilities
  • Find Purpose by leading the development team, setting clear objectives, and overseeing the design and architecture of scalable software solutions.
  • Unlock Possibility by managing project timelines and deliverables, collaborating with key stakeholders, and ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Accelerate Your Personal Growth by engaging in advanced AI training, mentorship, and career pathways; write, test, and maintain high-quality code; mentor teammates; stay updated with industry trends including AI-powered applications.
  • Lead the development team, provide technical guidance, and oversee software architecture for scalability and performance.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role; prior experience leading a team and providing technical guidance.
  • Experience with AI Powered Applications and AI coding assistant tools.
Technical Skills
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, Laravel, Node.js, Vue.js/Nuxt.js, and Bitbucket.
  • Excellent understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and tools.
Non-Negotiables
  • Availability for Dayshift (7:00 AM–4:00 PM PH Time, Monday–Friday).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on team success.
Bonus Points
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • A strong passion for technology and staying updated with industry trends.
The Role at a Glance
  • Schedule: Dayshift (7:00 AM–4:00 PM PH Time), Monday–Friday.
  • Work Setup: Hybrid – 3 days onsite and 2 days WFH (IT Park, Cebu City).
  • Tech Stack: Full Stack Development Frameworks & Languages, Bitbucket, Software Architecture & Design Patterns.
