Key Responsibilities Proficiency in Swift : Write and maintain clean, modular, and efficient code using Swift ensuring high‑performance app functionality. Apple’s SDKs & APIs : Utilize core Apple frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data to create rich cross‑device experiences. Code Quality and Testability : Implement test‑driven development (TDD) and maintain substantial unit test coverage across critical app components. Mastery of Apple’s Design Principles : Develop UI components adhering to Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines, focusing on creating minimalist and intuitive interfaces. Accessibility Features : Integrate Apple’s accessibility APIs (VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, etc.) to ensure inclusivity for all users, prioritizing accessibility at every step. Clean Architecture & Modular Design : Organize code into modular, scalable components using Clean Architecture principles, with a strong focus on separation of concerns and loose coupling. Code Optimization and Performance : Continuously optimize for battery efficiency, memory usage, and app performance, especially for devices with limited resources. Collaboration and Teamwork : Work closely with designers, product managers, and fellow developers to ensure smooth cross‑functional collaboration in delivering high‑quality products. Automation and CI/CD : Set up automated build pipelines using tools like Fastlane, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions, ensuring smooth and reliable app delivery. Essential Qualifications Proficiency in Swift and Objective‑C : Expert in both Swift (preferred) and Objective‑C, with a deep understanding of the latest Swift features, including async/await for concurrency. Apple’s SDKs & APIs : Extensive knowledge of core iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, HealthKit, ARKit, and Core Animation. Test‑Driven Development : Demonstrated experience in TDD, ensuring that projects are backed by comprehensive test coverage. Clean Architecture : Experience applying Clean Architecture principles, with proven ability to create maintainable and scalable codebases. Preferred Qualifications Networking and Concurrency : Experience using URLSession, Alamofire, and managing background tasks with GCD and OperationQueues.
