POSITION TITLE: Category Supervisor (Consumer Electronics) WORK LOCATION: Taguig WORK SETUP: Onsite WORK SCHEDULE: Day Shift QUALIFICATIONS: -At least 1 year of experience in category supervision, merchandising, or retail operations in consumer electronics -Experience in sourcing and negotiating with suppliers and vendors -Strong knowledge of sales forecasting, inventory planning, and retail analytics -Skilled in analyzing market trends, sales data, and pricing -Excellent communication and teamwork skills -Proficient in MS Excel, ERP, and retail management tools JOB SUMMARY/DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven Category Supervisor to manage the end-to-end merchandise lifecycle for a broad range of consumer electronics and tech categories. This role requires experience in sourcing, ordering, negotiating, procuring, and purchasing thousands of SKUs from multiple vendors. The successful candidate will oversee 4,000 to 16,000 SKUs, including gadgets, smart devices, audio products, laptops, storage devices, cameras, and gaming gear. The role demands strong supplier management, pricing strategy, inventory control, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless category performance and product availability. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: -Handle end-to-end category management including sourcing, ordering, procurement, pricing, and vendor negotiation for assigned product lines. -Manage 4,000 to 16,000 SKUs, ensuring accuracy in product listings, availability, and pricing strategies. -Maintain and grow relationships with local and international vendors and suppliers of gadgets, audio equipment, storage, smart devices, and gaming products. -Analyze sales data, category trends, and inventory movement to make informed purchasing and merchandising decisions. -Coordinate with inventory, logistics, marketing, and sales teams to ensure smooth rollout of products across all channels. -Execute seasonal and promotional product planning, including stock preparation and vendor coordination. -Monitor supplier performance, cost structures, delivery timelines, and profitability of assigned categories. -Identify product gaps and propose new items or categories to improve sales and market relevance. -Ensure alignment of category strategies with company sales objectives and business goals. -Work independently and lead cross-functional coordination efforts, while reporting directly to the Category Manager or Department Head.
