Junior Customer Support GIS Specialist

Full-time Offshoring type (work with our US client) Shifting schedule (must be amenable to work morning, mid, and night shift) Days off: any 2 days of the week Remote (equipment will be provided) CUSTOMER SUPPORT GIS SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES Accurately identify and address any issues or questions customers may have when using the client’s products to plan, fly, process, or analyze their data and escape to internal groups as needed Educate and empower users so that they become better end-users and leave with a positive feeling after each support interaction Create and maintain documentations that answer FAQs Identify common end-user challenges to suggest better solutions. Own the generation, troubleshooting, and ultimate delivery of pristine geospatial data products (orthophotos, point clouds, contour maps, DSM, etc.) to customers. Process imagery data using the client’s photogrammetry technology and tools Ensure delivered data products meet end-user requirements and SLA, including troubleshooting and providing reports and analyses for any data products that do not meet requirements. Assist in keeping the data processing pipeline running like a well-oiled machine, delivering products on target and on time. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Geodetic Engineering or any related course Ideal candidates will have 1+ years of experience using other photogrammetry and GIS tools, such as Pix4D, Agisoft, Global Mapper, QGIS, ArcGIS, etc. Preferably 1+ years of experience in troubleshooting data processing issues in automated data processing pipelines (not specific to image processing) Preferable 1+ year of experience with databases, preferably MySQL At least 2+ years’ experience providing direct technical resolutions Outstanding oral and written communication skills in English Comfortable with using technical jargons and able to communicate complex solutions in easy-to-understand terms Demonstrates strong problem solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot, replicate, and escalate issues as needed Can empathize with resolution and communicate with diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure Team-first attitude, self-starter approach Candidates must be amenable to working in the night shift and/or shifting schedule #J-18808-Ljbffr
