Overview

We are seeking a hands-on and reliable Field Technician to support the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS) , Building Management Systems (BMS) , and Access Control Systems (ACS) . The role involves working directly with field devices, ensuring reliable connections, and verifying proper functionality using technical tools and test equipment for Unified Microsystems.

Responsibilities
  • Install, terminate, and connect field devices for FDAS, BMS, and ACS systems
  • Verify connectivity, voltage, and signal integrity using multimeters and other test tools
  • Identify and resolve issues such as wiring faults, incorrect terminations, or communication failures
  • Read and interpret datasheets, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings to validate installations
  • Perform functional tests and support commissioning activities on-site
  • Coordinate with project and engineering teams to troubleshoot and document issues
  • Maintain accurate records of fieldwork, test results, and corrective actions
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and project quality expectations
