Job Description


  • Lead Strategic Initiatives : Oversee and develop regional strategies for merchant operations, aligning business objectives with operational execution to ensure scalable, efficient, and successful partnerships.

  • Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement : Act as the key driver for optimizing merchant processes, implementing advanced operational frameworks, and identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements across regions.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership : Collaborate with senior leadership across functions (commercial, finance, product) to design and execute long-term strategic plans and operational models, ensuring cross-functional alignment and market readiness.

  • Regional Scale Management : Navigate complex operational challenges ensuring high standards of service, performance metrics, and compliance with internal and external requirements.

  • Strategic Partner Liaison : Manage executive-level relationships with key partners, providing strategic guidance and ensuring the alignment of mutual goals, while addressing high-level operational issues and ensuring the continued success of partnerships.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making : Analyze complex operational data, market trends, and customer insights to inform business strategy and process improvements, presenting findings to senior management for decision-making.

  • Executive Reporting and Stakeholder Management : Regularly report on operational performance, challenges, and improvements to senior stakeholders, ensuring transparent and effective communication.

The Successful Applicant


  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or a related field; preference for candidates with an international undergraduate degree, Master's, or MBA.

  • Experienced in senior operational roles within fintech, consumer finance, consulting, or strategy-driven industries, with proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and regional operations.

  • Strong expertise in driving strategic initiatives, designing operational frameworks, and managing complex partner relationships.

  • Excellent analytical skills with a strategic mindset to solve business challenges using data-driven approaches.

  • Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams, managing P&Ls, and navigating high-growth environments in emerging markets.

  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence and drive change at senior levels, working with executives and global teams.
