Financial Reporting and Analysis

Singlife is seeking a Financial Reporting and Analysis professional to join their team in Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Support compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and BIR regulations.
  • Participate in internal and external audit preparations.
  • Ensure timely submission of financial reports to management and regulatory bodies.

Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct variance analysis and explain deviations between actual, historical, and budgeted performance.
  • Identify financial trends and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Support cost analysis and profitability reviews.

Compliance and Controls:

  • Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and company policies.
  • Assist in monitoring financial risks and recommending mitigation strategies.

Audit & Risk Management:

  • Coordinate with external and internal auditors during year-end audits and assessments.
  • Respond to audit queries and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
  • Monitor changes in accounting standards and industry updates and assess their implications for the company.

Data Management & Systems:

  • Support the development of automated reporting tools and dashboards.
  • Maintain accuracy of financial data in ERP systems and spreadsheets.
  • Ensure integrity and consistency of financial databases.

Process Improvement & Collaboration:

  • Develop and implement improvements in controllership workflows and internal controls.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure financial compliance across departments.
  • Provide internal guidance on finance-related matters such as intercompany transactions.

Ad Hocs:

  • Lead finance-related projects and initiatives and special assignments.
