We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Finance Project Manager to oversee compliance, accounting, and finance processes, track billing cycles, support SOW and contract management, and ensure timely invoicing and payments. You will be a key liaison between the finance, operations, and project teams ensuring smooth financial execution and reporting.

In this role, the nature of the work is dynamic and requires a collaborative attitude. While you will have specific duties, it's essential to understand that the entire team is responsible for the final delivery, and this may occasionally involve taking on additional tasks outside your primary responsibilities. The ability to adapt and contribute wherever needed is key to succeeding in this environment.

Job Summary

The Finance Project Manager will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities
  • Invoicing & Revenue Management : Prepare and submit accurate monthly invoices, track invoice status, ensure timely payments, and reconcile received amounts. Coordinate with project managers to validate billable hours and deliverables. Work with bookkeeping to ensure accurate and complete item categorization and accounts in QuickBooks. Manage payments to subcontractors and staffing vendors. Maintain payment schedules and vendor contract compliance. Verify hours and deliverables before disbursing funds.
  • SOW and Contract Support : Assist in drafting, updating, and tracking Statements of Work (SOWs). Maintain a library of current contracts, renewals, and key terms. Monitor renewal dates, deadlines, and approval processes.
  • Financial Reporting & Budget Tracking : Track project budgets, expenses, and profitability. Generate monthly and quarterly financial reports for leadership. Flag anomalies, overspending, or delayed payments.
  • Operational and Compliance Tasks : Maintain organized records of all financial and contractual documents. Support audit preparation and compliance with client finance policies. Ensure alignment with legal and tax requirements in applicable jurisdictions
