Production Planning and Inventory Control Officer/ Supervisor Tamaray People Solutions Corporation On-site - Quezon 1-3 Yrs Exp Bachelor Full-time Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planning and Inventory Control (PPIC) professional to oversee and optimize our production schedules and inventory management in the poultry processing industry. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production flow, maintain optimal inventory levels, and coordinate closely with procurement, production, and logistics departments. Candidates with experience in brewery or other food & beverage industries are welcome, as core skills in production planning, supply chain, and inventory control are transferable. Key Responsibilities Develop, monitor, and adjust daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory levels. Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align production targets with raw material availability and market demand. Analyze production capacity and bottlenecks; recommend improvements to ensure efficient workflow and resource utilization. Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize wastage. Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits; reconcile discrepancies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the inventory management system (ERP or manual as applicable). Generate regular reports on production performance, inventory levels, and material usage. Use data analytics to forecast material requirements and support purchasing decisions. Identify trends and areas for cost reduction, improved planning, and supply chain efficiency. Ensure adherence to food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, or ISO standards). Work closely with the QA/QC team to manage non-conformance issues related to raw materials and production outputs. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Food Technology, or related field. 2+ years of experience in PPIC, ideally in poultry, brewery, or food manufacturing industries. Strong knowledge of production planning, supply chain operations, and inventory systems. Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems. Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Experience Familiarity with poultry processing operations (e.g., slaughtering, deboning, packaging). Understanding of perishable goods inventory handling and cold chain logistics. Brewery or food/beverage industry background with transferable production planning skills.
