The Role

The Senior Technical Consultant will play a key role in analyzing, configuring, and supporting digital banking products and customer journeys. This role focuses on requirements gathering, product analysis, functional validation, and support for Temenos Infinity modules, ensuring seamless digital experiences for banking clients. The consultant will act as a bridge between L1 support teams, product engineering, and client stakeholders, ensuring issues are resolved with clear technical analysis and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level-2 technical support for Temenos Infinity platforms (web, mobile, omnichannel) across client environments.
• Oversee incident resolution, debugging, and root cause analysis for complex digital banking issues.
• Manage and optimize API/microservices integration between Infinity, Transact, and external systems.
• Ensure system availability, performance tuning, and scalability of digital channels.
• Guide the team in troubleshooting front-end (web/mobile) and middleware components.
• Define and enforce technical best practices, coding standards, and deployment guidelines.
• Collaborate with product engineering and architecture teams to deliver upgrades, hotfixes, and patches.
• Lead validation of digital customer journeys, payment flows, onboarding processes, and integrations.
• Manage and mentor a team of technical consultants and analysts, providing technical governance.
• Drive automation initiatives for monitoring, testing, and release management.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to provide technical advisory, architecture reviews, and escalation management.
• Contribute to knowledge base, runbooks, and technical documentation for Infinity operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 5+ years in Temenos Infinity or equivalent digital banking platforms.
• Strong expertise in Infinity architecture, digital channels (mobile, web), and customer journey configuration.
• Hands-on experience in Temenos Quantum (Visualizer and Mobile Fabric).
• Proficiency in REST and SOAP APIs, microservices, JSON, and web services.
• Hands-on experience in debugging middleware layers, API gateways, and integrations with Temenos Transact.
• Strong programming/scripting experience (Java, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JavaScript, Node.js, Angular/React, or similar).
• Solid knowledge of SQL and database performance tuning (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server).
• Experience with cloud deployments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
• Proficiency in Android and iOS app debugging.
• Hands-on exposure to Apache Cordova.
• Knowledge of mobile performance tuning, application security, and MDM integration.
• Temenos certification in Infinity Digital Banking is preferred.
• Experience with mobile application frameworks (iOS/Android) and web UI troubleshooting.
• Exposure to regulatory compliance in digital banking (KYC, AML, GDPR, PSD2).
• Strong knowledge of digital identity, authentication, and security standards (OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML).
• Experience driving digital transformation projects in large-scale banking environments.
