Australian - Tax Consultant (Manager/Director)

About the role: We are looking for dynamic and driven professionals to join our team as Australian Tax Consulting (Manager/Director) . This is an exciting opportunity for individuals at different stages of their leadership journey—from hands-on managers to seasoned directors—to play a pivotal role in shaping client success. You will overseeing multiple client engagements, delivering high-quality tax and accounting solutions, and ensuring targets for realization, revenue, and profitability are met.

Work Set-up: Hybrid (2–3x a week)

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients across diverse industries, including small to medium-sized entities, family and privately owned businesses, trusts and partnerships, foreign subsidiaries, and listed entities.
  • Provide high-level Australian tax and accounting advice, compliance services, and business/tax advisory support.
  • Lead multiple and concurrent projects, ensuring scope, quality, and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Play an active role in business development, networking, and building long-term client relationships.
  • Oversee client engagements from planning to completion, including client meetings, presentations, and negotiations with stakeholders.
  • Support practice strategy by contributing to areas such as people management, financial oversight, or market development.
  • Mentor and coach junior staff, encouraging professional growth and capability development.
  • Simplify complex technical or business issues to provide pragmatic, innovative solutions.
Qualifications
  • CA (Chartered Accountant) or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Relevant tertiary or post-graduate degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 4–7 years experience in Australian taxation and accounting within a corporate or professional services environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge and practical exposure to Australian taxation and accounting legislation.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay updated with changes in tax law and accounting standards.
