Tesla Motors is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world. This position requires significant customer interaction, so the ideal candidate will possess both technical skills and excellent customer service abilities. What You’ll Do
  1. Perform inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles.
  2. Operate hand, power, and shop tools.
  3. Conduct equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
  4. Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) of new cars.
  5. Maintain records of work, expenses, and materials.
  6. Order shop supplies and parts as needed.
  7. Support other duties related to vehicle maintenance and service.
  8. Ensure cleanliness of vehicles and the service center.
  9. Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  10. Assist journeymen technicians as needed.
What You’ll Bring
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, testing, diagnosis, HVAC, hydraulic systems, brakes, and electronic modules.
  • Experience with scan tools, diagnostics, and operating scopes/DVOM equipment.
  • Degree or certification in Automotive Technology or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years in a dealership or 3-5 years in the automotive industry.
  • Factory or OEM training, hybrid experience a plus.
  • Certification to repair A/C systems and handle refrigerants (desired).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and maintain professional appearance and integrity.
