Job Description Be part of our client's team as a SQL Database Administrator , taking ownership of high-availability database environments that power healthcare systems worldwide. You'll manage Always On availability groups, clustering, performance tuning, and disaster recovery strategies-all while working with global teams that value innovation, mentorship, and shared success. Visit ) Free 24/7 access to our office gyms (Ortigas and Makati) with a free physical fitness trainer Exclusive Emapta Lifestyle perks (hotel and restaurant discounts, and more) Unlimited opportunities for employee referral incentives across the organization Standard government and Emapta benefits Total of 20 annual leaves to be used on your own discretion (including 5 credits convertible to cash) Fun engagement activities for employees Mentorship and exposure to global leaders and teams Career growth opportunities Diverse and supportive work environment What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Minimum of 4 years' experience in database operations, administration, or a similar role Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server , including SQL Express Proven expertise in High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions , including clustering and Always On availability groups (non-negotiableli> Proficient in installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning Skilled in backup and recovery strategies ensuring data integrity and availability Experienced in database migrations and version upgrades Familiar with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based database environments Understanding of database security, ITIL frameworks, and change management SQL Server certification or other relevant credentials (preferred) Willing to work onsite and accommodate a shifting schedule Your Day-to-Day Manage and maintain SQL Server environments, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness Monitor and optimize performance across multiple instances and environments Configure and manage Always On availability groups and clustering solutions Secure data integrity through backup, recovery, and access control Troubleshoot and resolve database incidents swiftly and effectively Collaborate with developers, system admins, and support teams to maintain reliable data systems Document configurations, processes, and incident resolutions to maintain transparency and compliance About the Client Our client is the UK's largest specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions , trusted by the NHS and private sector for over 30 years .
