To support this growth, we are bolstering our capability by adding key roles that are integral to our future success. Application Engineer This is a remote role that offers a unique opportunity to develop and integrate cutting‑edge cloud products that protect some of Australia’s most critical data. In this position you will work closely with the Delivery team to support the company’s expansion. Responsibilities System Development & Maintenance: Design, develop and maintain high‑quality, scalable systems. Collaboration & Communication: Work cross‑functionally to translate business needs into technical solutions. Development Lifecycle & Quality: Engage in Vault’s SDLC, leveraging DevOps practices and maintaining coding standards. Product & Release Planning: Contribute to backlog management, resource planning, and efficient product delivery. Technical Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends, drive innovation, and optimize system design. Qualifications Proficiency in Ruby on Rails for application development. Experience in system design and architecture, ensuring scalable and efficient solutions. Familiarity with GitLab administration and CI/CD pipeline management. Ability to contribute across multiple technical domains, including hardware, software, and systems development. Adaptability and rapid prototyping skills, enabling quick proof‑of‑concept development for new technologies or approaches. A passion for technology and security.
