Property Accountant

Property Accountant GPC Philippines Corporation is currently seeking a Property Accountant. This position will work from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM PHT and is applicable only to Philippine-based legal residents and citizens. Work hours may shift over time to better accommodate business needs. The Property Accountant plays a key role in managing the financial operations of a commercial property portfolio, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, reconciliations, and cash management. The role is responsible for preparing monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, accruals, owner distributions, lease administration, and budget input , working closely with internal teams to maintain financial integrity. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting , real estate accounting experience , and proficiency in Yardi Voyager and AvidXchange . Strong time management, analytical thinking, and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment . Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and financial reporting systems is preferred, presenting a proactive and efficient approach to meeting deadlines both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations. Record monthly accruals and ensure financial records align with GAAP standards. Process daily cash receipts and update cash sheets for real-time cash management. Review and approve invoices for assigned property portfolios. Prepare owner distributions, management fees, and input approved annual budgets into the accounting system. Assist in lease administration, including lease input and reviewing lease data. Oversee check runs and payment approvals based on available cash. Maintain compliance with accounting policies and financial procedures. Support process improvements, system implementations, and financial reporting enhancements. Collaborate with property management teams to ensure accurate financial operations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a four‑year college or university. 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate accounting. Proficiency in Yardi Voyager and AvidXchange is preferred. Strong analytical, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Outlook). Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
