About the Role As a Shopify Developer at Somos Digital, you will work closely with the strategists and designers in our Brand Building department to bring our clients' brands to life on Shopify Responsibilities Create Shopify stores and customize them to meet specific client requirements. Brand visual assets, copy, and web designs will be provided by your teammates. Create custom Shopify themes using Shopify's template language (Liquid). Develop and implement functionality for Shopify Plus, including custom apps and integrations. Work with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure timely project delivery. Optimize the performance of existing Shopify stores. Understand the latest Shopify trends, features, and best practices. Required Skills and Qualifications At least 3 years of experience as a Shopify Developer. Must be able to show samples of previous work. Proficiency in Shopify Liquid. Experience with Shopify Plus and integrating custom applications and integrations. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Detail-oriented, able to prioritize tasks. Professional English communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience with version control systems (such as Git) is preferred.
