Responsibilities:
  1. Visual Effects Supervision and Direction
    • Supervise the planning, execution, and integration of visual effects in multimedia projects, ensuring alignment with the director’s vision and creative objectives.
    • Oversee on-set VFX requirements including green screen setup, tracking markers, lighting references, and data capture for seamless post-production compositing.
    • Lead creative and technical direction for VFX-heavy projects, ensuring accuracy, realism, and consistency in animation, simulations, and effects.
    • Review, critique, and approve VFX sequences and assets to maintain high-quality standards across all outputs.
    • Collaborate closely with directors, cinematographers, production designers, and post-production teams to determine the most efficient and effective VFX solutions.
  2. Audio and Video Editing
    • Edit sound, video, or combined files using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
    • Record, edit, and mix audio tracks, enhancing sound quality and adding necessary effects.
    • Create and integrate animation, sound effects, titles, subtitles, and other visual elements into projects.
    • Curate and maintain sound libraries for use in post-production work.
  3. Quality Assurance and Control
    • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure alignment with creative intent and technical specifications.
    • Utilize techniques to enhance video and audio quality for clarity and impact.
    • Adhere to directives and feedback from stakeholders to meet project goals.
    • Showcase expertise in each project, understanding its storyline and technical requirements.
  4. Project Management
    • Perform duties including media ingestion, troubleshooting, and delivery to producers.
    • Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to financial constraints.
    • Provide accurate estimates for project scopes.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth workflow.
  5. Pitches and Presentations
    • Participate in pitch presentations and brainstorming sessions, providing support and insights.
    • Assist in preparing presentation materials and communicating ideas effectively.
  6. Industry Knowledge
    • Stay updated on market developments in advertising, digital, creative, technology, marketing, and consulting industries.
    • Participate in training to enhance skills and knowledge.
    • Share insights and best practices with team members for continuous improvement.
  7. AI Research and Development
    • Explore and evaluate emerging AI tools and technologies relevant to post-production workflows.
    • Develop and test AI-powered solutions to automate tasks and enhance creative capabilities.
    • Collaborate with teams to pilot AI-assisted tools such as generative fill, rotoscoping, and speech enhancement.
    • Stay informed on advancements in machine learning and generative media for content creation.
    • Document research and share best practices to support AI adoption.
    • Partner with developers and creatives to integrate AI solutions that enhance human creativity.
