Receive and inspect deliveries for quality and quantity, and report any discrepancies. Arrange and label rice bags or containers neatly for easy access and presentation. Store Maintenance Keep the retail area clean, organized, and safe for customers. Ensure proper storage of rice to prevent spoilage, contamination, or pest issues. Regularly check equipment such as weighing scales for accuracy and functionality. Community Engagement Build good relationships with regular customers to encourage loyalty and repeat business. Assist in promoting the business through word-of-mouth and excellent service. Qualifications Customer Service Skills: Ability to interact politely and professionally with customers. Numeracy Skills: Strong basic math skills for weighing rice, calculating prices, and handling cash transactions. Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting and handling heavy rice bags as needed. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage inventory, restock efficiently, and maintain a tidy retail space. Reliability: Punctual and dependable in performing daily tasks.
