Work Set-up: Work from home

Shift: 9:00PM - 6:00AM (Philippine Time)

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for performing general accounting duties, preparing financial reports, maintaining the general ledger, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring financial compliance with accounting principles.

  • Perform general accounting tasks, including coding invoices, setting up new accounts, reconciling accounts, and closing the monthly books.
  • Prepare and review periodic (monthly) balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure that all financial data is accurate and up to date.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and manage accounts receivable collections.
  • Verify payment of invoices related to accounts payable and ensure payments are allocated to the correct accounts.
  • Assist with the preparation and coordination of annual audits by providing necessary account documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Ensure that financial reporting complies with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management regarding financial performance, policies, and objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
  • Work efficiently under deadlines, managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain and enhance accounting processes to improve overall efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, accountancy, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of accounting experience.
  • Must have a stable employment history.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management ability, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and departments, both internally and externally, to achieve business objectives.
  • Has a growth mindset and team-oriented behaviors, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ability to navigate competing priorities and effectively work in a fast-paced environment.
