The Role We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our Digital Solutions Team based in Manila. Reporting to the Senior Software Engineering Lead , you’ll play an important role in developing high-quality investment implementation software. The team currently includes a Lead, Software Engineers, and a QA Engineer, with further growth planned. You’ll be involved in all stages of the software development life cycle—from requirements gathering to cloud deployment. Many projects are greenfield , giving you the chance to shape system architecture and design. bfinance follows an Agile development process , focusing on efficient delivery and continuous improvement. Key Focus Areas Transitioning from segregated systems to an integrated solution Migrating to a new platform using modern, best-in-class technologies Delivering new services and enhancing existing ones in areas such as: Business process automation Data acquisition and integration Data analytics (including AI/ML) Dashboards and reporting As part of a small, agile team, you’ll collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders and gain exposure to a wide range of projects—including those involving AI and machine learning . Strong communication skills, self-management, and comfort working with a distributed international team are key to success. Some overlap with the UK team (at least two hours daily) will be required. All interviews are conducted remotely, and a work-from-home setup is encouraged for now.
