Overview

Role: Finance Director

Work Arrangement: Work from Home

Schedule: Night shift

Location: Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines

We are looking for a Finance Director / Group Financial Controller who can take ownership of the day-to-day finance function with a sharp focus on compliance and accuracy. This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving environment, ensuring filings, records, and reporting are completed on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations: bookkeeping, reconciliations, monthly closes, reporting.
  • Manage U.S. tax compliance and regulatory filings; maintain filing calendars to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Work with external accountants, auditors, and advisors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain Delaware corporate records, filings, and franchise tax requirements.
  • Oversee light administration of U.K. entity and offshore foundation (minimal activity).
  • Implement scalable systems and processes to support rapid growth.
Qualifications and requirements
  • Strong background in accounting, audit, or financial control.
  • Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP, tax compliance, and filings.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with financial systems/tools.
  • Startup/scale-up experience preferred; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, lean environment.
  • Familiarity with crypto accounting (or willingness to learn).
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with multi-entity environments is a plus.
