Overview Join to apply for the Video Editor (APAC) role at Maneuver Marketing . Maneuver Marketing is a high‑growth DTC brand dedicated to creating conscious, high‑quality health and wellness supplements. Over the past five years we launched our own DTC brand, scaling it to USD$100M+ in annual sales, reaching more than 3,000,000 customers worldwide with an average of 4,000 daily orders across 9 SKUs. Our rapid growth earned us a spot on The Financial Times’ APAC High‑Growth Companies list and a 2nd place award at the E50 Awards. As a Video Editor, you will shape how our brands connect and sell to audiences through high‑converting video content, using AGI, Adobe, and other SaaS tools. You’ll work across quick‑turnaround social ads and longer‑form VSLs, collaborating with creative strategy, performance marketing, and engineering teams to refine and execute our playbooks. Responsibilities Post‑Production Ads & Content Assembly Source and organize raw footage for multiple brands and campaigns. Cut and sequence video for narrative, rhythm, and platform behavior. Apply sound design including music, voice‑over, audio cleanup, and mixing. Manage output for all formats (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5) with speed and quality control. Collaborate with the in‑house tech team to improve efficiency via automation or internal tools. Support DAM tagging, file naming, and asset versioning workflows. Proven Ad Format Engineering Partner with Creative Strategists to prototype new ad formats and hook systems. Build ad nests with tight pacing, rhythmic editing, and clear retention markers. Test hypotheses across variations: hooks, creators, audio, retention devices, visuals. Iterate using performance data (CTR, thumb‑stop, watch‑through, ROAS). Document learnings for reuse across SKUs and campaigns. Cross‑Functional Application Develop short‑form (ads, UGC, product demos) and long‑form (VSLs, explainers, testimonials). Adapt content to each channel’s best practices (Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, Amazon). Ensure brand voice, messaging, and CTA alignment across the customer journey. Review performance data to refine structure and formats. Balance creativity with commercial clarity (benefits, mechanisms, proof). Motion Graphics & Visual Design Design MOGRTs and reusable AE templates for intros, titles, supers, and end cards. Integrate kinetic typography, lower thirds, and product animations for emotional lift. Elevate narrative flow through tasteful transitions and motion design accents. Maintain consistent visual language (fonts, colors, logo use, graphic packs). Collaborate with the design team to sync graphic systems across brands. Content Performance & Engagement Track CTR, VTR, and engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments, watch time). Link creative decisions to measurable outcomes (ROAS, CPA, conversions). Identify creative drivers of success (hook pacing, voice, visuals). Collaborate with Creative Strategists to interpret performance data and iterate. Benchmark content performance against previous iterations and competitors. Efficiency & Workflow Management Deliver quick turnarounds (raw footage → export) under tight deadlines. Maintain organized project structures (assets, versions, sequences). Handle multiple projects simultaneously with consistent quality. Ensure smooth hand‑off between creative, media, and brand teams. Use automation and templates to scale editing and versioning. Document workflows for repeatable execution. Performance Metrics Content Performance & Engagement CTR (Click‑Through Rate) and View‑Through Rate (VTR) Engagement metrics (shares, comments, watch time) across platforms Conversion impact (e.g., VSLs driving sales, social ads generating sign‑ups) Efficiency & Workflow Management Turnaround time from raw footage to final export Project management discipline (organized assets, correct versioning) Ability to handle multiple projects without quality drop Technical Mastery & Reliability Error‑free outputs (formatting, codecs, aspect ratios, subtitles, sync) High production standards (sound levels, color grading, rendering consistency) Proficiency in new tools and workflows (DaVinci Resolve, MOGRTs, AI‑assisted editing) Requirements / What You Bring 3–5 years of experience in video editing with direct‑to‑consumer brands or DTC performance marketing agencies. Hands‑on experience with video editing/motion design software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Descript, Runway ML, ElevenLabs, Adobe After Effects, MOGRT templates, etc.). Comfortable working within cross‑functional project and automation systems (Asana, Notion, Zapier, Frame.io). Performance‑aware: passion for conversion, engagement, scroll‑stopping impact, hooks, and CTA. Familiarity with direct response, native, content marketing strategies and social media advertising. Strong understanding of video editing techniques and storytelling principles. Experience with color correction and grading, versioning and output optimization, and an understanding of video formats. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude to adapt to changing project needs.
