Associate Experience Designer - 6535 Cambridge University Press & Assessment is recruiting an Associate Experience Designer to join its Experience & Service Design Team in Manila. Employment type : Fixed-Term 1 year Location : Makati City, Metro Manila Work setup : Hybrid – applicants who can work in the office two days a week are encouraged to apply. Design engaging, original, functional and consistent solutions that align with the design strategy and enhance our products. Create UI assets and UX artefacts from rough sketches to pixel‑perfect clickable prototypes. Test and iterate. Contribute to information architecture refinement, be involved in interaction design, measure and optimise solutions to improve usability. Liaise with stakeholders and act as the voice of the user, balancing user needs with business requirements. Design experiences and assets for various channels including websites, apps, social media, email and more. Assist the team by refining and evolving processes and products, and bring new ideas and solutions to the table. What makes you the ideal candidate for this position? We are looking for a mid‑weight level designer who enjoys solving problems with design. You will be involved in a wide range of projects across multiple channels, working with teams in Cambridge and across the globe. Experience, knowledge, or expertise in the following gives you an advantage: UX & UI Design Expertise – strong end‑to‑end UX design skills and responsive, cross‑platform UI design. Creativity & Project Ownership – manage projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring design quality and user focus throughout. Design Tools & Technical Knowledge – proficiency in Figma, Miro, Maze, Jira and an understanding of front‑end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Research & Data Analysis – strong UX research skills with a knack for interpreting data insights. Collaboration & Work Ethic – supportive team player, excellent communication, time management and presentation skills.
