The Technical Support Officer is a highly skilled product and service expert responsible for providing advanced technical solutions, quality assurance insights, and repair strategy support to the dealership network. The role ensures that technical concerns are resolved efficiently and accurately, while also driving defect trend analysis, recall/campaign compliance, and readiness for advanced vehicle technologies (including EVs and PHEVs). This position also plays a key role in ensuring workshop teams are well‑equipped with updated diagnostic knowledge and tools. About the opportunity Provide remote and on‑site support to dealership technicians in diagnosing and resolving advanced technical issues. Monitor recurring technical concerns across models and VINs, prepare defect trend reports, and elevate to regional teams when needed. Lead the implementation and compliance tracking of all technical bulletins, campaigns, and recalls. Ensure Right First Time (RFT) repair rates are sustained and recommend methods to avoid repeat repairs. Conduct quality checks on high‑value or safety‑related repairs. Serve as the local expert on EV and hybrid system diagnosis, BMS management, and HV safety protocols. Training will be provided for EV and hybrid vehicle systems to develop expertise in this area. Creative and distribute internal technical newsletters, bulletins, and best practice guides. Provide coaching and technical workshops for dealership technicians and frontliners. Maintain close collaboration with Regional Technical Teams for case management and product feedback. Analyze warranty trends and ensure repair methods align with policy compliance and cost‑efficiency. Qualifications Graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, or any related technical discipline. At least 3 years of work experience in advanced automotive technical, including diagnostics, technical case resolution, and field support. Any automotive technical experience will be considered for this role. Willing to travel to conduct technical support when needed. Travel availability required on an as‑needed basis to provide technical support. Strong automotive technical knowledge across multiple vehicle systems.
