Overview

Shopee Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines

Join Shopee as an SEO Specialist to help build Shopee’s online presence across all markets. This is a hands-on role requiring proven experience in organic search, content strategy, link building, technical analysis, and performance analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the regional SEO team and other cross-functional teams to provide and execute SEO best practices.
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization.
  • Conduct competitive site analysis.
  • Monitor SEO performance with key metrics.
  • Develop and implement link-building strategies.
  • Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO traffic in content creation through other digital marketing channels like blogs.
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
  • Other SEO tasks and duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Good understanding of technical SEO and content marketing best practices.
  • Experience using SEO and website analytics tools such as Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and Google Analytics.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Sharp attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
